About us
The Wooster Voice is a student-run publication. It has existed in one form or another since 1883, making it one of the oldest student newspapers in America.
We have two editors-in-chief every year, a managing editor and our editorial board, which is hired by the editors-in-chief and consists of the section editors — there are usually two editors per section (News, Viewpoints, Features, A&E, Sports).
We meet Thursdays to decide on story lists, produce stories over the weekend, and then layout the newspaper on Tuesday nights starting at 4 p.m
Our faculty adviser is Lynette Mattson, assistant director of the Writing Center.
We work to serve the students at The College of Wooster by providing news and human-interest stories about the campus and the larger community.
.
If you’d like to suggest ways we can accomplish that goal more effectively, please email the editors-in-chief,
Sam Boudreau (sboudreau23@wooster.edu)
Lark Pinney (lpinney23@wooster.edu).
